In order to further promote the quality brand construction of knitting industry, improve the manufacturing quality and enterprise competitiveness, and promote the transformation and upgrading of knitting industry. Recently, the Third Council of the Sixth China Knitting Industry Association and the Intelligent Manufacturing · Transformation and Development Seminar with the theme of "New Era, New Ideas, and New Challenges" was held in Shuyang, Jiangsu. More than 400 participants not only exchanged views on the development of the knitting market In addition to the situation, it also conducted in-depth discussions on hot topics such as the status and development of intelligent manufacturing in the knitting industry and industrial transfer under the "Belt and Road" initiative.

Industry scale continues to expand

From January to October this year, China's textile industry profits increased by 9.26, much better than expected. Among them, the profit growth rate of knitting industry also exceeded expectations, up 8.58 year on year. After experiencing two consecutive years of low-speed growth from 2015 to 2016, in the first 10 months of this year, enterprises above the scale of the knitting industry completed their main business income of 643.713 billion billion yuan, an increase of 6.64 percent over the same period last year, slightly lower than the 6.98 percent growth rate of the whole textile industry, an increase of 2.19 percentage points over the same period last year. Among them, the growth rate of knitted fabrics is better than that of knitted garments. Knitting fabric enterprises above designated size completed the main business income of 279.475 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.37; knitting clothing enterprises above designated size completed the main business income of 364.238 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.35. "In the first three quarters of 2017, my country's economy grew by 6.9 year-on-year. One of the characteristics is that industrial growth has rebounded, the industrial structure and product structure have been optimized, and strategic emerging industries have increased by 11.3 year-on-year, indicating that my country's economic growth is no longer driven by investment. The efficiency of enterprises has improved significantly, and progress has been made in supply-side structural reforms." Lu Zheng, member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and deputy director of the Economics Department, analyzed that my country's labor-intensive industries still have broad room for development, and consumption upgrades and the import and export trade deficit of high-end consumer goods also provide market opportunities for domestic consumer goods upgrades.

Yang Jichao, vice chairman of the China Textile Industry Federation and chairman of the China Knitting Industry Association, said that from the current operation of my country's knitting industry, there are mainly three trends: First, the scale of the knitting industry continues to expand, and the growth rate is expected to bottom out; Second, the quality and efficiency lead the way, knitting printing and dyeing leading the industry's profit margin level; third, the proportion of domestic sales continues to increase, and the export of knitted fabrics steadily.

From the perspective of product development, Zhang Peihua, professor and doctoral supervisor of the Textile College of Donghua University, believes that the five major trends of textile materials during the 13th Five-Year Plan period are high performance, light weight, high strength, high modulus, impact resistance and high temperature resistance. Functionality, comfort, health care and protection; Blending modification technology, biomass, regeneration and marine biomass; Recycling; Nanofibers. The current situation of the development of new knitting materials should be understood from the two aspects of new textile materials and intelligence. In terms of new textile materials, functional textile materials and intelligent textile materials are mainly used in the field of clothing and decoration, and high-performance textile materials are mainly used in the field of industrial use. For the use of knitted fabric development trend, will be reflected in the function, fashion, coat, simulation, intelligence, forming. "The transformation and development of the industry has entered the deep water area. On the basis of the existing industry, the knitting industry will gather a wider range of innovative elements in the future, strive to meet the development needs of new economy, new technology, flexible manufacturing and intelligent manufacturing, grasp the opportunities and challenges brought by new retail and consumption upgrading to the development of the industry, strive to adapt to the new era of economic development, and actively explore in science and technology, brand, talent, sustainability, take the road of scientific, refined and brand development to achieve scientific, fashionable and green development." Yang Jichao said that enterprises should grasp two directions in opening up the market: new growth points in the domestic market are blooming everywhere, and grasping the domestic market is the most important; International brands lead the new development of knitted apparel, and Rio Tinto's international market is the trend.

"Going out" has broad prospects for development.

At present, my country's economy has shifted from a stage of rapid growth to a stage of high-quality development. It is in a critical period of transforming development mode, optimizing economic structure, and transforming growth momentum. The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China also made "Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered The major judgment of" New Era ", the development of China's knitting industry also needs to aim at new coordinates.

From the perspective of exports, in the first three quarters of this year, my country's knitting industry achieved exports of US $65.448 billion billion, a year-on-year decrease of 3.19 percent, and a decrease of 3.97 percentage points from the same period last year. Among them, the export value of knitted fabrics was 12.141 billion billion US dollars, an increase of 12.84 percent over the same period last year; the export value of knitted garments was 44.18 billion billion US dollars, a decrease of 7.90 percent over the same period last year, a decrease of 0.62 percentage points over the same period last year.

Yang Jichao analyzed and pointed out that the export market of the knitting industry has picked up, which also represents the continuous improvement of domestic knitting enterprises in product design, research and development, and production capacity. Especially in the past five years, in the case of sluggish overall demand in the international market, the continuous expansion of the export market of knitted fabrics is also a highlight of the knitting industry.

Regarding the trend of industrial transfer under the "Belt and Road" initiative, Lin Yunfeng believes that at present, my country's textile industry has a strong momentum of "going out" and has broad prospects for foreign investment. According to incomplete statistics from the Ministry of Commerce, by the end of 2016, 1082 domestic enterprises had set up textile, clothing and apparel industries abroad, an increase of 8.3 percent over the same period last year, while the stock of Chinese investment was 6.86 billion billion US dollars, an increase of 31.4 percent over the same period last year. In 2016, the investment flow of domestic enterprises in the overseas textile, clothing and apparel industries reached 1.64 billion billion US dollars, an increase of 47.7 per cent over the same period last year, and the main business income reached 7.3 billion billion US dollars, an increase of 96.2 per cent over the same period last year.

Lin Yunfeng said that the "going out" of my country's textile industry has generally shown a trend of accelerated advancement in multiple regions, multiple industries and multiple forms. The awareness of key enterprises to take the initiative to carry out international layout has increased significantly. The main forms of foreign investment are greenfield investment, equity mergers and acquisitions, and assets. Acquisitions and joint ventures, etc. Especially from 2015 to 2016, China's textile industry's foreign direct investment has entered a significant acceleration stage. From the perspective of regional distribution of investment, transnational greenfield investment in production capacity is mainly concentrated in Southeast Asian countries such as Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar. Ethiopia in Africa has become another hot spot in China's industrial capacity layout with its comprehensive advantages such as stable macro-political and economic situation, cheap and large-scale demographic dividend, cheap electricity and zero tariff on exports to Europe and the United States.

In the field of knitting industry, Shenzhou International, Instant Fa and Dongdu have all carried out greenfield investment and international order allocation in Cambodia, Vietnam and other countries. According to reports, Qingdao Jifa set up a garment factory in Vietnam in 2005, employing more than 1,000 people and building 24 production lines. In September 2016, it signed a letter of intent with Vietnam Fusheng Construction Co., Ltd. with a total investment of US $0.1 billion, engaged in the production of knitted fabrics, woven fabrics and other non-woven fabrics and dyeing, printing, clothing and other businesses, with an annual output of 12000 tons of high-grade fabrics. In 2013, Shenzhou International also began to invest in Vietnam to set up factories to produce knitted clothing products and fabrics. So far, the total investment has reached about $0.3 billion. At the end of 2016, Shenzhou International's first-phase garment manufacturing plant in Vietnam had more than 7000 employees, and this year it plans to increase to more than 10000. The second phase fabric factory in Vietnam was also completed and put into operation in the same year, accounting for 40% of the total production capacity of Shenzhou fabric.

Lin Yunfeng said that through overseas direct investment and mergers and acquisitions, the global vertical extension and control of raw material resources, design and research resources, brand resources and market channel resources at both ends of the industrial chain can drive the knitting industry as a whole to penetrate into high value-added areas of the industrial value chain.

Green Development Helps Industry Innovation

"Under the wave of intelligence, Internet companies such as Alibaba and Tencent are solving the'soft technology', and our textile industry now needs to solve the'hard technology '." Lu Zheng believes that at present, for the textile manufacturing industry, it is necessary to develop high-tech industries and transform traditional industries. The development of intelligent manufacturing should combine the technical characteristics of the equipment, processes and materials of the industry to save manpower, reduce consumption, improve quality, reduce pollution and other requirements to develop new technologies, new equipment and new processes, while innovation-driven should be demand-oriented, enterprises as the main body, and adopt the mode of social division of labor and market-oriented operation.

With the increasingly stringent environmental regulations and related standards, green development has become an important trend and guiding concept in the knitting printing and dyeing industry. Yang Shuming, a professor-level senior engineer at the Beijing Textile Environmental Protection Center, said that my country's large and medium-sized knitting companies basically integrate knitting and printing and dyeing. At present, due to changes in raw materials, the promotion of cleaner production, the improvement and improvement of production processes, dyeing and chemical materials, and production equipment, The production volume is increasing, while the water intake and wastewater discharge are decreasing year by year, and the pollutant discharge is also decreasing year by year. "In recent years, textile companies have also made a lot of efforts in environmental protection construction, including shutting down many small and medium-sized enterprises and reducing emissions. In the past, some enterprises opened in residential areas, but now many have been centralized and relocated to industrial zones or development zones. Take some technical problems in wastewater treatment as an example. In the past, all wastewater was treated and discharged together. Now, it is required to treat and reuse wastewater by quality and meet the discharge standards. All enterprises in the printing and dyeing industry have done wastewater treatment, but there are not many feasible technologies. It is hoped that enterprises must reserve a plan for sewage treatment when building new factories, select reasonable design parameters, give full play to the role of hydrolytic acidification tank (residence time, removal rate, aniline generation), and neutralize heavy metals in waste acid." Yang Shuming said.

Product innovation and intellectual property protection are also key factors that have to be considered in the long-term development of knitting enterprises. In order to arouse the awareness of intellectual property protection in the industry, Feng Junxiang, an examiner of the Invention Examination Department of the Patent Office of the International Intellectual Property Office and a researcher of Beijing Zhonglianchuang and Intellectual Property Research Center, made an in-depth exchange on the area, type, purpose and necessity of patent applications at home and abroad. Interpretation. He pointed out that from the global data, there are about 130000 patents with knitting as the key word, which reached the highest peak from 2011 to 2012. After that, the number of patent applications decreased significantly. It may be that the knitting industry has encountered a bottleneck, which has led to the slowdown of enterprises' investment in technology research and development, and the number of patent applications has decreased. Feng Junxiang reminds enterprises that innovation cannot be separated from the strong protection of intellectual property rights, and the ultimate value of intellectual property rights lies in their application, which protects and leads innovation. Therefore, enterprises should take the right way when applying for patents and fully understand the main points of the patent system.
